For Undergraduate Psychology Students at UCF
The UCF Psychological Society / Regional Campus Psychology Club
If you are a psychology major or minor, you may want to join the Psychology Society at the Orlando campus or the Psychology Club at the Brevard or Daytona campuses. These aim to link Psychology students with faculty, volunteer and research opportunities and to provide information regarding opportunities for learning about Psychology at UCF.
Psi Chi National Honor Society
As a Psychology major, a goal that you may want to set for yourself is to be inducted into a UCF chapter of the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology. The honor society recognizes scholastic excellence and contribution to the field of Psychology by undergraduate psychology majors. The Psi Chi office at the Orlando campus is in PSY250B and extension 3-0344. Several of the Regional Campuses also have Psi Chi chapters.
Student Professionals in Industrial Organizational Psychology (SPIOP)
SPIOP is a student organization that promotes graduate and undergraduate students' understanding and involvement within the field of industrial/organizational psychology. Specifically, the organization provides opportunities for students to share ideas and information among themselves and the I/O psychology community.
Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Student Chapter
The Student Chapter of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) is mostly comprised of graduate students in the Human Factors Psychology and Industrial Engineering programs. The Student Chapter gives members the opportunity to further their professional goals by encouraging members to attend conferences and sponsoring colloquia where members have the opportunity to meet the foremost researchers in the field. The UCF Chapter of HFES is open to any student of UCF interested in Human Factors and Ergonomics.
