Year started in the program: 2001

Background and Research interests:
Sherri's work in the Team Performance Laboratory at UCF has allowed her to pursue interesting work including spatial and temporal displays, international gestures, as well as work with the Transportation Security Administration. Sherri came to UCF with a Masters of Arts degree in cognitive psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Binghamton. Her main projects at SUNY involved the area of false memories. Sherri completed an internship at the NASA Ames research center in San Jose, CA during the summer of 2000. This internship peaked her interest in rotorcraft aviation and simulation with head-up displays. Sherri was voted the Student Chapter of Human Factors and Ergonomics Society President for 2003 at UCF and is an active member of Toastmasters International since 2002.
