Title: Research Psychologist
Year started in the program: 1999
Current work location: Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems
Division
Research interest: My research interests include HCI and usability
testing with a specific interest in systems and interfaces
used by disabled persons. I am currently working a project
that examines the HCI issues of magnification products for
the visually disabled. At NAWCTSD, I have recently begun working
on a project to develop a command and control interface for
a weapons system using user-centered design principles. In
addition, I have been researching the applications of human
performance modeling and intelligent tutoring systems (ITS)
to individual and team training. Currently, I am Principle
Investigator on a project investigating uses of HBRs (human
behavior representations) for training teamwork skills.
