Psychology at the University of Central Florida

The Department of Psychology offers Master's degrees in Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and three highly competitive doctoral programs (Ph.D) in Applied Experimental and Human Factors, Clinical, and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Students have the opportunity to work in a variety of research laboratories within the department, and research equipment ranges from computer graphics and image generation apparatus for visual flight and driving simulation to equipment used in study of information processing and human performance such as EEG and brainwaves.
 

Master of Arts · Clinical
The Master of Arts degree program in clinical psychology is offered at the Daytona Beach area campus and is concerned with the application of psychological principles to individuals, couples, families, and systems.


Master of Science · Industrial & Organizational
The Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology is concerned with the application of psychological principles to organizations.


Doctorate · Human Factors
The Ph.D. track in Applied Experimental and Human Factors Psychology trains students to design, conduct, and apply human factors research in a variety of professional settings.


Doctorate · Clinical
The Clinical Ph.D. trains students for the professional practice of psychology. Graduates of this training are prepared to work as investigators and practitioners.


Doctorate · Industrial & Organizational
The Ph.D. track in Industrial and Organizational Psychology trains students in work theories. Graduates are prepared to pursue rewarding careers in both academia and industry.
