Dr. Shirkey has been at UCF since the Fall, 1971. His Ph.D. degree is in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin (Madison) with an emphasis in psychometrics, statistics and research design. He has taught a variety of courses in his specialty and has unique skills in personnel selection and job analysis, parapsychology and brain functioning. Professor Shirkey is currently interested in EEG biofeedback, brain mapping and other aspects of psychobiology. Dr. Shirkey is a frequent mentor to graduate and undergraduate students.
