Professor Jensen joined UCF in 1985 from Louisiana State University, having earned his Ph.D. at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Dr. Jensen's preferred areas of interest are in clinical psychology and in general are related to behavioral assessment and cognitive behavior therapy. Specific current interests are assessment and treatment of marital dysfunction, self-efficacy and athletic performance, treatment acceptability of sports psychology interventions and variables associated with exercise behaviors. Dr. Jensen is the current director of the graduate program in Clinical.
