Research interest: My research interests include spatial abilities, spatial orientation, boredom, and situation awareness. I am currently working with the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory to develop an assessment tool for the symptomology of sopite syndrome (i.e., motion induced drowsiness) and I am working with UWF's Institute for Human and Machine Cognition on research using vibro-tactile stimulation to provide spatial orientation cues to pilots (Tactile Situation Awareness System).
