Undergraduate Opportunities at South Lake Campus
The Psychology Program at the Southlake Regional Campus offers students the opportunity to complete all required upper-division coursework leading to the degree of B.S. in Psychology. Located in the city of
Clermont, the Southlake campus is situated in the heart of
Lake
County with convenient access for students situated in
Orange,
Sumter, and
Polk
Counties. With seamless access from
Lake-Sumter
Community College in Clermont, students who have completed their Associates degree have the opportunity to continue their undergraduate studies by working toward the goal of the Bachelor’s degree. To supplement their comprehensive coursework, students at the Southlake campus are provided with undergraduate fieldwork opportunities through in a diversity of community organizations. Through fieldwork placements, students can gain valuable work experience as well as access to organizations that conduct applied research in the psychology field. Students completing their Bachelor’s degree in Psychology can expect to prepare for employment in the field or pursue graduate studies.
