Sallie Weaver (PhD) was a recent recipient of two national scholarships: In April, she was awarded the National Training and Simulation Association's (NTSA) Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation, and Education Conference Doctoral Scholarship. In March, she was awarded the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology's Leslie W. Joyce and Paul W. Thayer Graduate Fellowship in I-O Psychology
Jun, 2009: Poster Award
Jessica Wildman, a third year doctoral student in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology PhD, collaborated with Drs Steve Fiore and Eduardo Salas and won the best poster award at the 2009 Fourth Annual INGRoup Conference in Colorado. Her poster is entitled: Toward Measurement of Trust and Distrust: Separate Constructs or Ends of a Continuum
Sep, 2008: Psychology Graduate Highlight
Sally Stader (Applied Experimental & Human Factors PhD student) was a co-winner of the Best Graduate Paper Award at the 2008 Florida Student Conference on Human Factors and Applied Psychology held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Her paper was titled “Ergonomic Evaluation of a General Aviation Maintenance Task: Covering an Aircraft Wing”.
Jul, 2008: Clinical Students Win 2008 FPA Poster Competition
Clinical Ph.D. students Diana Orem and Betsy Wack each won a cash prize for first and second place for poster presentations at the 2008 Florida Psychological Association research conference.

April 2008: Carol Thornson was selected as one of five winners for Best in Category for her presentation titled, "Perceived Instrumentality of an Intervention: How Important is Metacognitive Feedback" in the Social Sciences category at the 2008 Graduate Research Forum.
